A PS now.
Having had a lot of help from this group what I currently do is use Windows
and AOL broadband to access the net on one computer. Any downloads I put
straight into my linux machine running Samba. I have found that as long as
the files are compressed (.tar .tar.Z .gz whatever) it works fine. However
if the files are not compressed I am not so sure it works.
