[LUG] help sendfax
Hi
I have an installation where an application uses faxspool. The ID of the
user does not match that of the underlying linux user, i.e. the application
user has a user name bth and linux understands the application as being run
by root.
faxspool returns a message, faxq-helper; name mismatch (bth <> root)
the situation is the same if logged in as simon I su to root and run
faxspool from the command line (simon <> root). Its OK if I'm not su'd or
logged in as root.
Is there anyway I can make faxspool think the user is bth/simon.
Thanks for any ideas.
Simon
