I know Kai or Neil S. would love to say it, so I'll say it first. :-p # apt-get update # apt-get upgrade My GUI Debian boxes upgraded to KDE 3.2.1 overnight using cron-apt and I didn't have to lift a finger. I went to bed after logging out of KDE 3.1 and when I logged in the following day, KDE 3.2 sprang to life. A few days later, 3.2.1 appeared. Easy or what? BTW. I went to Debian precisely because upgrading KDE on Mandrake was so difficult! - -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk/ http://www.dclug.org.uk/ http://www.isbn.org.uk/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/isbnsearch/ http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x8801094A28BCB3E3 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAZDLOiAEJSii8s+MRAnlJAKDqCi42GebRaBt8h8eVT5M4BC/t6QCeJ9vJ wb9Aj711dKkedXuwuWtsh6Q= =kDIe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
