Greetings, At long last I've collected the components for a firewall box. I shall be using Ipcop (not the best, but the only one small enough to download via 56K). My question is: should I either disable the SuSE personal firewall running on my desktop box before/after setting up said firewall, or just leave it running? I don't intend to have any other PC's networked in (for the time being anyway) so I won't have any amber zone problem.
And the problem with IPCop is? If you are getting strange problems when browsing the web, try disabling the SuSE firewall to make sure it not interfering with connections. -- 'ooroo Mike...(:)-) --------------------------------------------------- Email: mike@xxxxxxxxxxxxx o You need only two tools. o ///// A hammer and duct tape.
