You may find logging on as a user with access to the oracle binaries and starting sqlplus may help :- su - oracle bash-2.05$ sqlplus SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production on <current date/time stamp> Cntrl-D to exit SQLPlus. I believe this reflects any patches (irrespective as to wether they apply to sqlplus or not). Hope this helps. Tom. Information in this message is confidential and may be legally privileged.
