[LUG] motv

One of the other paignton users has suse 9 and motv with a tv card,  at
present the tv card is detected but not working properly

when loading the motv package we get told that

XFree86-DRI is missing on display 0:0

I know that display 0:0 refers to the current active display, i,e the
monitor can anyone offer help on getting this package,  as I have tried to
find the package with yast search and even ticked package descriptions but
to no avail.

DRI sounds familiar but at presetn I can't remember what it means,
