[LUG] Arrrg, mail ate my mail!

I was waiting for an important email to my home address so i was using the 
mail command over a ssh terminal from work to keep at eye out. Fine read the 
mail from work, got home at lunch and the mail was no where to be seen!, not 
in /var/spool/mail, not in ~/mbox and i did NOT tell mail to delete it!
