I've updated my kernel to k_athlon-2.4.20-101 on my SuSE 8.2 system. Since then I've lost Nvidia 3D acceleration and I can't reinstall the driver due to the lack of a precompiled kernel. I checked to see if the kernel sources were still intact as they are required by the nvidia-installer only to find that they had completely disappeared!! The SuSE upgrade page only has what seems to be a patch to the k_athlon-2.4.20.100 sources which isn't much good if you don't have them. I could download the k_athlon-2.4.20.100 sources but at 35Mb on a dial connection I would get into ISP time out restrictions. Anyone know how to solve my problem or could some kind soul with ADSL offer to download the sources onto CD/DVD for me?
