Both the TFT panels I've used have required unusual LILO settings for vga mode - more details on the Reviews section of the DCLUG website. SUSE always has problems with my panels - I can never get an even display, there are out-of-focus vertical lines each 2 inches across the screen, about 2mm wide each. Very disorientating when all my work is text. I haven't worked out why only SUSE is affected - I've installed a dozen other distros and they've all worked flawlessly once the vga setting was in LILO. Basically, if you can get X working on a laptop, it will work on most TFT's. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk/ http://www.dclug.org.uk/ http://www.isbn.org.uk/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/isbnsearch/ http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x8801094A28BCB3E3
