It had a spell checker when it was proprietary, someone elses. When the rewrite came, the change of licence killed the spell checker, because Netscape didn't own it. I've aways had a spell checker in Mozilla, as the Mozdev people filled the gap with an ispell plug-in almost instantly, it merely required a second download. I hardly ever remember to use it, I probably ought to make it automatic, but enough stuff happens automatically when I send an email already. We've had this discussion before I think. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/ik8BGFXfHI9FVgYRAnomAKC5Ya3TO4WltE26yR4iXh9k87puAQCbBlgu m/lO6jnP8kPYUvabWNz+TDc= =3neR -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
