I`m trying to upgrade to KDE 3.1.3..but I`m stuck....I get the following error from APT.... _______________________________________________________ [root@xxxxxxxxx mike]# apt-get install kdebase Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: kdebase: PreDepends: /usr/sbin/themer but it is not installable Depends: kde (>= 0:3.1.3) but it is not installable Depends: kdelibs (>= 6:3.1.3) but 6:3.1-10 is to be installed E: Broken packages ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here`s the /etc/apt/sources.list........... ___________________________________________________________ # flash player rpm http://macromedia.rediris.es/apt/ redhat/8.0 macromedia # o/s updates rpm http://ayo.freshrpms.net/ redhat/9/i386 os updates rpm http://ayo.freshrpms.net/ redhat/9/i386 freshrpms # kde-redhat rpm ftp://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat 9 stable ___________________________________________________________ Never had this error message before...any ideas?
