I can't understand why this resolv.conf issue is still a problem with suse, this seems to have been a problem for the last few distros releases. If it doesn't, then you need to create it. It should look similar to: - nameserver isp.dns.server.addr nameserver isp.backupdns.server.addr If it does exist, then do an ls -al and check the permissions on the file.
