If the table trick is used to get good indexing of the table-layouted page in search engines, it screws up use for those depending on screen readers. However a page with layout by div and css can be and usualy would be arranged so teh information is in the right order, and the appearance is also right. I think it is actually harder to do, which is a pity, but it is clearly a better way to go. What is not clear of course is that layout is actually required. -- From the Linux sofa or garden swing of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
