-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Can anyone succinctly expain recent changes to autoconf? I'm trying to rebuild some software (and merge some stuff which depends on Lex). The author of patch is guru status - so I'm assuming his "AM_PROG_LEX" addition to configure.ac worked when he did it - even if he is a tad lack about details sometimes.... Now I get a "possibly undefined macro" error.... Well it may well be undefined, but the changes also spat warning all over about the previously working AC_CREATE_STDINT_H, and attempt to use AX_CREATE_STDINT_H(src/GCint.h) from sourceforge died with "syntax error" at or about 'src/GCint.g'. The usual sources of information (i.e. the author and the autoconf group are particuarly unforthcoming)..... Argh - I always hated C, this is doing nothing to encourage me to use it. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE+5xoTGFXfHI9FVgYRAkS8AJwMxVumIqfPlCHFa2NBz/yfTRo3QgCfU9uC Ht5Oqtb3oaay5ZJVUBgWlW8= =c9NE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
