There seems to be an increase in use of swapspace here, as time goes on, and while from time to time it seems to get cleared I wonder if something is sequestering it? Is it just that Linux doesn't clear swap space until some other process needs it, or is there a way to identify the swap space use of various processes, preferably ranking them by its use? -- From one of the Linux desktops of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
