I'm a debian fan, and I don't like redhat for a courple of reasons. This being said, there are more packages in RPM format then .deb. So you probably have to compile less often for RH then debian. I rearly compile stuff with debian, and when I do, thier tools make it easy. The average debian user won't have to, but then, nor will a RH user, or a SuSE user. *Please* stop turning *everything* into a 'debian r0ck5! RH suc|<5' message, it is wearing a little thin. Next time I see you quoting apt-cache search, I think I'm going to throw my comptuer out of the window. It's a nice day, I think we should all leave our computers alone, and go have a BBQ. -- Ian P.
