nvidia has a universal linux driver package (unified architecture apparently) on its website. http://www.nvidia.com. If you are trying to uninstall from this package, you do a : sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run --uninstall as root. install being sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run its really user friendly. Whenever I'm messing around with video, I tend to alter the runlevel in /etc/inittab so X doesn't boot by default. Once the new drivers are intalled, it is then simply a matter of modifying the file again to allow your system to boot X on startup (although you can test from the command line using startx. I run Redhat, I assume that suse uses the inittab also. Good luck ;). James.
