However, I've got a reasonably smoothly working system now, just from the packages from CD1, so hopefully I can tinker about and get my NIC to work. It spits out the manufacturer/card ID in hex in the system log, but it can't tally this to an identifier or device driver as it is not in the card database. However, I think the linux drivers actually came with the card (wow!) so it should be a reasonably easy operation to configure it.
