[LUG] HELP: hard disc migration

Can anyone here recommond a way to transfer the contents of a 10GB ext3
drive onto a 30GB drive.    I tried using Ghost,   that didnt work because
the
version i have doesnt like grub:(      After transfering with ghost and
trying to
restore the grub loader, eg like this until anyone knows better:
find /boot/grub/stage1
it returns
hd0,1    so i type
root (hd0,1)
then
setup (hd0)
and rebooting,  its just says GRUB on the screen and goes no futher.
