[LUG] Linux counter

Not sure how many people have regisered with this, but it may be worth
people logging in and checking their details as they are starting to delete
old accounts, e;g those without a valid e-mail address etc.  They don't want
to give false information,  their estimate at present is 18 million users,
which is quite a lot really,
