[LUG] broadband outage

Total loss of broadband today and telewest eurobell blamed a huge
thunderstorm in the plymouth area sriking down a server.

Strange how it was ok till about 11 o'clock though...

Glad I kept my analogue modem so I can check on updates though ;-)

22:59 Still have a blinky light on the cable modem. Twas supossed to
have been sorted out by early evening.

Serves me right.

At least tis a doddle to get ppp up on running on me linux box again.
