Speaking from recent experience (note change of email address), I'd second 
the motion.

Initially, I has a Speedtouch 330 (Aubergine frog USB). It worked fine with 
my Win98 box but wouldn't talk to my Smoothwall  or Mandrake boxen. Eclipse 
swapped it for a Speedtouch 530, which is a combo USB / ethernet 
single-port box, and it talks to everything. Highly configurable through 
the web interface - not that I know enough to do so yet.

It cost 25 more than the 330 but is worth it.
