Hi Theo, Had a chance to try this last night but it does not seem to have worked - even after a re-boot. The relevent section of httpd.conf (or rather commonhttpd.conf) is as follows: <Directory /> Options -All -Multiviews +Indexes AllowOverride None Order deny, allow Deny from all </Directory> Don't know if that shedsa any light on it. The +Indexes is what I added after your e-mail. Many thanks, Mark Harvey On Tuesday 18 Feb 2003 12:17 am, Theo Zourzouvillys wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > On Tuesday 18 February 2003 12:12 am, Mark Harvey wrote: > > /var/www/html is owned by root and permission sare set to 777 > > Find a section in your httpd.conf, that will look like this > > <Directory /var/www/html> > > or > > <Location /> > > and add "Options +Indexes".
