[LUG] Public Web Browser

Hi all,

I have an old Pentium 90 which I would like to use as public web browser.
I've been through the relavent mini-howto, and failed miserably
(I don't quite understand Linux as well as I'd like to).

Could I have opinions on: -

  If the Pentium 90 is up to the job
  (and if not, if there is a computer shop around Newquay, Truro, Falmouth,
  similar to 'the computer shop' in Plymouth,
  where I could pick up a higher spec PC for under £100)

  What is a good (low resource) window manager

  What is a good (low resource) browser
  (that windows users will find familliar)

  Or even better, is there a relevant distribution/web site
