Thanks for the hint about the Domino  *nix command lije mail stuff - now 
you mention it, it rings a bell - I'll see if I can track it down...

You're right about Sendmail - You have to make sure that there is No 
sendmail installed on a Linux Domino box as it interfers with the Domino 
SMTP MTA. If "mail" is wanting Sendmail, then there is certainly a 
problem.
