I've mounted my windows partition as /media/windows
mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /media/windows
which is actually /dev/hda1 but only root can access this partition, how can I make a normal user access this volume.
Without being root?
Help??
In the entry in your /etc/fstab, add 'user' to the options.
The line should look something like:
/dev/hda1 /media/windows ntfs default, ro, user, [no]auto
