Don't knock it. OSX is FreeBSD, and runs the same software as Linux
and other *X.  Your Linux skills are transferable.

Looks a little pricey to me, for what you get.  The lower-cost ones only
have 12" screens, which is way below the industry standard.  It's the
upper end of the range (powerbook) that seems popular AFAICS.

It may be that they're better-built than a cheaper x86, though.  Oh, and
if you're happy with the screen, I certainly wouldn't let 800MHz worry you.
