Yep, but I'm really old so I like an integrated debugger (and because of a quirk of what I do for a living, I'm often writing quick-and-dirty once-off C programs which never get a release compilation I spend a lot of time in it...) And I have to go back to MSVC quite a bit (the Nokia SDK's a case in point - they had to put a cross-compiler out there and that's where they put it) so I need something I can configure and forget (because I surely will forget it !) I've had extended emacs recommended before now, but my mind's been poisoned by vi and I can't remember all those state commands (I told you .. I'm old...) jd -- John Daragon argv[0] limited john@xxxxxxxxxx Lambs Lawn Cottage, Staple Fitzpaine, Taunton TA3 5SL, UK (house) 01460 234576 (office) 01460 234068 (mobile) 07836 576127 (fax) 01460 234069 -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
