It is true that is won't make much difference really. I agree entirely.
Wouldn't it be an ideal world if they actually got the laws right?

However some people will unfortunately get sued for breaking the
encryption in the first place, for the rest of us. Oh dear.

Maybe it is a better idea to campaign.
