I had this only yesterday (drove me mad for a while too!). Redhat uses tcp_wrappers to restrict inbound TCP connections. If you don't need/want tcp-wrappers, then the best thing to do is:Hi, I know I'm tired, but I cannot get sendmail to behave on ReadHat 7.3 I can't connect to port 25 from any machine other than localhost - I haven't got a firewall running, and everything works flawlessly from localhost. Everytime I try to connect to port 25 from another machine, I get 'connection refused' - nothing is put in any logs, it's as if sendmail isn't running I'm pretty sure I've missed something stupid - would someone please point out what.
Regards,
Jon Lawrence
