I've been trying to find a half decent book about how to use automake/autoconf etc and best practices for designing source trees when developing applications. I'm hoping to start writing some C/C++ stuff and intend to start as I mean to go on. Anyone suggest anything? Regards, Mark.
Probably not exactly what you're after, but I used these books to learn C++: IDG's "C++ Dummies", or SAM's "Teach Yourself C++ for Linux in 21 Days" --Andy Weir------------------------------------------------------------- | Electrical & Electronics Engineer Work: andy.weir@xxxxxxxxxx | | AMIEE IEE Member No. 8266908 Play: andy.weir@xxxxxxx | | (http://www.iee.org.uk) | | _----_ | | Linux / \ | | Registered User #272048 _o_/ \ | | (http://counter.li.org) / \ /\ | | /| @ \_________________| | Say no to software patents! _____|_\@@ | | (http://petition.eurolinux.org) @@@ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
