Can anyone recommend a better one than this? http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=2172 I'm thinking 2 PCs, 1 monitor, printer, modem, hub, router. Also, are there any caveats for monitor switchers, or are they just hardware?
I've got a cheapy maplin one with a big dial on the front, it works, but the reception isn't great (probably cheap contacts on the switch). If you want a good quality picture, I'd go for one with push buttons, and electronics to do the switching (little lights on the front always look impressive too) --Andy Weir------------------------------------------------------------- | Electrical & Electronics Engineer Work: andy.weir@xxxxxxxxxx | | AMIEE IEE Member No. 8266908 Play: andy.weir@xxxxxxx | | (http://www.iee.org.uk) | | _----_ | | Linux / \ | | Registered User #272048 _o_/ \ | | (http://counter.li.org) / \ /\ | | /| @ \_________________| | Say no to software patents! _____|_\@@ | | (http://petition.eurolinux.org) @@@ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
