[LUG] ADSL

I have finally managed to get an ADSL modem (only 34 quid :-) ) an
Alcatel 1000 Ethernet and ATMF 25.

The qurey i have relates to the modem not having pptp (or thats what it
says) does it need this ?

Also which is better to use, Ethernet or ATMF 25 ?
