At work we are actually 'Partners in Practice' with TAS and part of the Sage 'Accountants Club.' Sage have undertaken to keep the TAS software brand and packages. In fact, for sales/support we still deal with all the old TAS staff. I know for a fact that development work is being done on all the TAS products and has since Sage bought the company There is no hint of TAS being discontinued. As Mark said earlier, TAS books is far better than Line 50 in almost all areas of bookkeeping.Darren Ward On Sunday 14 July 2002 4:39 pm, you wrote:Hiya I work for an accountants in Newquay. We reccommend (and can get for you) TAS Books. Unfortunately, it only works under that other OS - but I haven't tried to run it under Wine. Much friendlier than Sage (and cheaper - and (IMHO) better).
