Anyone else here interested in discussing this?
Just looking through the project requirements, it seems to me that your greatest difficulty might be fulfilling the requirements for OS Landline and (in the future) Mastermap capability.
Isn't Landline just a data set in lots of GIS formats? Mastermap uses a Java interface, that kind of stuff is bread and butter for GIS. No the biggest problem is probably the sell. My personal experience with maps left me liking plate carre, detesting mercator, and realising the importance of software testing. Map work also destroys any vague notions the earth might be flat, map makers should be so lucky, but I doubt Plymouth work on that kind of scale ;) Just get on with the sell Nick.... -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
