I've written a filter for perl that accepts mail just as it's about to be written to a transport, finds the body, encrypts it (using specified users public key), and then writes it to the mailspool, all very easy in exim.
I don't entirely like that. There is a lot of scope for a building to building or department to department (or Practice to Hospital/Consultant's office) automatic encryption and signing thing built into the MTA, but for individual users, there should really be an _action_ of signing. But the underlying idea is great. - -- - From one of the Linux desktops of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9E2ekzNQCqnMEHpoRAm5YAKCGg1VCZqN6e6+BCM59uRnZVqiduwCgmRbO 4q2yuY+QsTh9s5oikC1WMvo= =6j9c -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
