So, your options are to fit another hard drive, re-size your windows partition, or do a umsdos installation (which I think requires you windows partition to be fat based). Umsdos is a way of having your linux filesystem on a windows drive. However, it's probably going to give you appauling performance and I don't know what distributions support that mode of installation. Not sure I'd reccomend that for a first installation.
