Have you downloaded the latest updates from Suse from the Yast2 Online update module?

Specifically there are a couples of patches to KDE base and multimedia which solve a couple of issues.

I tried to play a c.d on suse and i have no sound. the sound works fine on everything else. also when i try to mount a music c.d i get a input/output error. any help would be apreciated.
