ADSL via Satelite is now available countrywide, it's a bit more expensive than via the phone line - take a look at http://www.btopenworld.com/satellite/. The register is running a story on ADSL in Cornwall. Seems Truro, St Austell, Redruth, Camborne, Newquay and Penzance echanges are now ADSL enabled. http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/22/25025.html Now if they could get ADSL to work in Threemilestone... (3 miles from the Truro exchange - availbility, still "not a chance") Pete Hatton --------------------------------- E-mail: pete@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Webpage: http://www.monolight.org --------------------------------- If we were meant to get up early, God would have created us with alarm clocks. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
