I also have this months LXF. The quote given in the photo on page 66 is rather interesting! A piece of the interview: LXF - Microsoft use Samba a lot for testing? JRA - And internally.... It would seem that from LXFs interview there was a good relationship between MS and Samba. IBM now have servers that rely on Linux for their OS, presumably these servers would need to talk to desktops running windows and hence need to use Samba. Samba isn't the only thing being threatened here.
