Hey, that's my line of business:-) All it means is that they're inviting other sites to integrate google content seamlessly into theirs, and pay for the privilege. IMO a very sensible thing for someone in google's position. Anyone interested in webservices based on opensource will naturally want to look at Apache 2.0 with mod_xml as the basis for your projects.
