greets, Has anybody played with virtual serves on UNIX yet? i.e. Verio or implemented them using Solaris (yuck), Linux or BSD. I am looking at using a small cluster of machines each containing a mirrored virtual server to provide High Availability - a sort of RAID with an Array of Inexpensive PCs and using Virtuozzo or usermode Linux or even an s/390 VM running multiple instances of SuSE for S/390 as 'stripes'. I think applying the raid approach would provide some fairly cheap high availability. Maybe put a SQUID reverse proxy infront for caching and load balancing..
