[LUG] R-ADSL available in areas that BT says are not

Just a word to those interested in broadband.

If you have been turned down by ADSL availability check webpages in the past, 
check them out again. Particularly if your telephone number is OK but the 
postcode let you down. I've just signed up with PIPEX (after a favourable 
report on TheRegister) and got confirmation tonight that ADSL is available on 
my line.

Eclipse, BTOpenWoe and others all report my telephone number as fine but my 
postcode as bad. Pipex use a different check and (surprisingly) profess 
access to internal BT data that BTOpenWoe obviously doesn't check!

I'm looking forward to broadband anytime soon!! Hehehehe!!!!!!!!
