Cough - urm Dynamic DNS - well I use nsupdate to update my local DNS manually - this is the kind of sick discipline only regulars in comp.protocols.dns.bind would inflict on themselves. I haven't done much integration work with DHCP and DDNS, mainly because I don't think DDNS is worth it for most people, but I'm steadily mastering the more obscure bits of DDNS. But what sort of trouble?
Port forwarding clearly does work because I have had Nimda attacks on my Apache server ha ha.
Port forwarding web traffic - hmm - couldn't you find a good proxy?
