That is actually not a bad idea for a development of the (various) Linux filesystems. On Cypherpunk, and relayed via UK-Crypto, there was an essay on failures, and the absence of encrypted filesystems as standard components was regarded or presented as being one of them, in contrast to various successes of the introduction of widespread use of crypto. Short of encrypting the filestore, just arranging that gone is _gone_ would be a useful thing. - -- - From one of the Linux desktops of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8WHlqzNQCqnMEHpoRAhGjAKCUDZ2AiB7+nTAJXJsdvY+mNrCqJACfS0As kP90nZhhT9YMxRMA2V7OVcU= =5t+M -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
