Ahh yes! FreeSWAN is *fantastic*.  Myself, Pete and the other Alex have 
been using it to create a VPN for the playing of games like Toca 2 over.

With 2 modem clients that have linux routers and a cable modem with a 
linux router in the middle it works gorgeously, and no need to be opening 
big holes in our firewalls in order to play games.

I am very impressed with it.
