[LUG] Famous Linux people && Exeter

I was reading slashdot, and spotted something by Alan Cox. One thing led to 
another and before long it got me thinking that swansea was "number 7" of 6 
universities I applied to last year. Then of course, I hoppedon google and did 
a search for "Linux Exeter". A few pages later, I'd found minimal pages 
outside the odd @exeter.ac.uk address on mailing lists, and of course, dclug 
and the university, and a few for the US Exeter.

I did happen on this page though:

Apparently "He [Simon] studied Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at 
Exeter University, where he discovered the Internet in 1987 [...]"

You learn something every day ;)

Ho hum, realy should be off ot bed, but I'm celebrating fixing my laptop 
("lilo is now in my shutdown scripts - wont ahppen again!)
