I have 7.2 from Linux emporium I can lend if anyones interested. Also 8.0
and mandrake freq update (after 8 with more beta goodies)

Apart from 7.2 both these freeze up my graphics card in 3D (Ati Rage Fury &
Voodoo Banshee before !)

Actually so does RH 7.1 although the banshee worked fine and suse 7.2
although the banshee also was ok & the Ati card works for a couple of
minutes before the picture degrading & then locking up. Anyone have any
ideas  what might be going on ?

Mandrake 7.2 uses xfee 4.01 and the othes use 4.03 apart from mandrake freq
which uses 4.1

BTW, my mates Nvidia card has frame rates of the scale with the latest linux
drivers in suse 7.2 from nvidia. Don't use the ones that come on the CD/DVD
if you have it. (again I'm willing to lend the cd's to whoever want to pick
them up from the plymouth area)
