Did you miss the thread about those of us looking for work? Realistically if you can bring it with you, or carry on with whoever the project in Cornwall was for I think it would be a shrewd move. Most of the fulltime vacancies make the big agencies and boards, so cwjobs.co.uk and friends are a good place to start. Computerfutures South West use to be quite good, but now they don't seem to even reply to emails.... Since the end of the work I was doing for Alstom, I've kicked a few agencies but not even had replies from most of them. Maybe my approach is wrong, but I think the freelance market down here is pretty dire. Previously I've aways been happy to go to London, but I think I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for that. Don't get me wrong, there is work around, and a lot of eGovernment stuff starting up, but be prepared for long gaps in between, and lower pay rates. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/CvllGFXfHI9FVgYRAiMAAJ9POITw8XmzYqzQKYDKaOvV+FF81gCgyIie R9Sia4h4jjIZmx+MTCmotLs= =MOW5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
