The point is that not all Linux distros are entirely Free Software, I don't think we should encourage people to copy CD's because it says "Linux", we should educate them to understand about free software licences, and I may even encourage them only to use the stuff that is Free. > I've taken that line out of the file for now, but I'm still bemused about how > public ISO images can be 'restricted'. Not all SUSE Linux produts are on their FTP site AFAIK. Anything can be on a random public FTP site, Freenet even has a DVD download section for those with more bandwidth than scruples. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/AhfdGFXfHI9FVgYRAgaoAJ9dOIzych1sXecsGF6Pbk0dOC4PkgCgzeWE tsNkyCsEuiedOgFOhITASIw= =56To -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
